Speedometer not working after tranny swap

Speedometer not working after tranny swap
I swapped in a first gen( I think) b16 tranny into my 93 ls. the swap went great but ran into some problems with the speedo cable sensor, apparently the b16 tranny uses an electronic speedo sensor instead of a cable set-up, so I don't know how to convert the cable set-up to that of the b16 sensor, or if it even could be done? Has anyone else had this problem? my speedo and odometer is out...

Re: Speedometer not working after tranny swap (sleeperls93)
you mean the old late 80's/early 90's cable-clutch B16 tranny used an electronic VSS? I never would have guessed...
You might have to try to fit another cluster in there that uses an electronic speed sensor, and run the appropriate wires.
