Alternator installation help
I am doing an engine swap, and to make things easier i removed the alternator from the engine. now i cannot fit the alternator back on to that part of the engine throught the top of the engine bay. should i go from the bottom? or am i SOL about this? do honda mechanics remove engines to replace alternators? any help would be appreciated, also links to step by step instructions would rule too!
thanks
thanks
Remove the drivers side axle. This is the easiest way to do it that i have found. Im assuming all of the brackets are on the block. The brackets might be harder to put on but yeah, take off the axle and your good to go!
EDIT- just saw you figured it out. Ill leave my post up so others can read. I know with a JRSC you gotta remove the axle, but i dont know if the alternator is in its normal location what you gotta do.
