B16A Alternator fit???
Anyone know how the hell to fit an alternator to a 92 civic with B16A? Seems that there is no room to remove it/install it on the engine whilst the motor is in the car!
Looks like, loom, inlet, fuel rail, and underneath, driveshaft, p/s pipe etc in the way!
HELP!

Re: B16A Alternator fit??? (slamdunkcivic)
- remove driver's axle from intermediate shaft
- remove lower alternator bracket from engine block
- remove alternator
Have done this twice this weekend; have been sold two alternators both of which did not fit my engine. Make sure the new alternator looks the same as the old alternator, and make sure the plugs on the new alternator look like the old alternator.
Better yet, bring the old alternator to the parts shop when you replace it.
