alignment problems?
I have a 95 LS and I am having problems with its alignment. I just had it aligned at acura and I am still having problems. Ok so when I am approching a red light it wants to pull hard to the right. sometimes its to the left. At first I thought it was just an alignment prob but that did not fix it. So I am ?ing the body being stright. It looks like it was hit in the rear at some time. Not a bad hit as far as I can tell. SO how can I tell if my body is stright? Also I have 16" rota circut 8's and kumho tires at 205/45/R16 could this be my problem? What if I went to 215/45/r16's? What about worn suspension bushings? The roads here are bad I think there is alot of ruts and grooves in the street could this be it? I was leaning toward it being the roads but no one elses car in my family will do the same. I am really mad and running out of ideas. please some one give me an idea. thanks in advance.
I have kumahos too, and my car does the same, I think it is just the tires gripping different runnts and crap in the road. Mine is fine on flat roads, and tracks straight, but when it gets crappy it jumps and dances. 205-40-172 and lowerd a couple inches.
thanks for the reply. My car dose the same it will tract stright on flat roads but any ruts or grooves and it wants to follow. I am just tryin to find any answer thanks
swap your rims to the other side (if they aren't directionals) the guy at honda told me if it still pulls after the alignment, its the tire/rim. so try that or put on some different rims.
yeah I was going to put my stock wheels and tires on and see what happens. My Kumhos are directional so I can't swap sides, I could put the rears in front and see what happens. I just want to find out what the deal is. thanks
i cant be too sure on this but i based on what youve said, i highly doubt its ur tires. i'd say its frame damage of some sort but then again u said it pulls both ways sometimes right? when ur on a perfectly flat road... does the car pull one way or the other? i dunno, sorry man

I was saying that on a flat road it will tract perfectly stright. It whats to pull left or right on roads that have ruts or grooves I don't think the frame is bent I was just seeing what would be said though.
Its the road.
At traffic lights the road is rutted or grooved slightly. I work at a dealer and that the problem nothing to do with the alignment or frame. The tires/wheels and suspension setup make it more noticeable since its stiffer and more responsive.

I also have Kumho's and after I got them my cars pulls on bad roads esp while braking. I think the tires just like to follow the cracks and grooves on the road.
