Multiple problems with suspension and tires
Ok, I know that this isnt an eclipse forum, and I didnt want to register to one for a common question that probably applies to all imports, and since I'm established here, I figured you guys could help, but anyway, my girlfriends eclipse was wobbling like crazyon turns above 60 mph. We were sure what the problem was but everyone said to get the tires balanced so i did, and the problem is still there.
I know that there is a toe issue since it eats through tires pretty quickly, but i was wondering a few things. One, could the toe problem on the rear tires be the cause of the wobbling on turns(mainly sweeping right hand turns 60+)? There is obvious were on the inside of the rear tires. Two, how do you fix the toe angle on the rear of a car?
I need to fix the problem no matter what, but i'm not sure how and im not sure if this has an effect on the wobbling.
please help!
Thanks guys
Brian

yes, toe can cause wobbling or an unsteady handling on turns.
but, if the toe was off in the rear, it'd have a "feathering" pattern on the tires, and not wear on the inside of the tires.
if those tires were in the front, and the front toe was off, THAT would cause wear on the shoulders of the tires.
in either case, an alignment would determine whether that is a factor.
