Default AEM or Comptech

Im about to buy an intake for my car but dont know what to get. I have narrowed it down to the Comptech intake with the Ice Box and the AEM CAI. I heard that comptech doesnt void your warranty and stuff like that but I dont know how true that is. I like them both but dont know what to get I know that the AEM is a little cheaper but I want to know what has better power gains the AEM or the Comptech? I really like the setup of the Ice Box it seems like it gets more air. But my main question is which one gives you more hp and by how much? Thanks in advance

Basically Acura stands by Comptech because comptech only make products for H/A . On the other question of which brand to get I would go with the Ice Box Because I have it and I can tell the big difference in performance wise it gave me vs. the CAI my friend bought from AEM that he didnt care for but just made noise. ANd when you buy anything from comptech you get a 1 year warranty. I got mine from Velocityresources.com

The Comptech is 5 times quieter and has slightly more low-end power then the AEM.

Both are available here http://www.diabloautosports.com

We sell the full line of Comptech and AEM

So the Comptech does have a little more power? Is the comptech as quiet as stock?

I got the comptech. no problems in the rain. The sound is noticably louder than stock only above 6K rpm. No whistle, no hydrolock, and the company only makes products for Honda/Acura.

If you've got the extra money to burn, get the Comptech. It probably is the better product but the AEM is good too. The power increase is about the same for both of them. Last I heard, the Comptech made a little more gains but not enough to be noticable.
