94-95s are OBD I, 96+s have the style'd side view mirrors and the 98+s have a slew of differences....I generally try to stay with the 94-95 or 98+. If you're looking for a good daily driver, go with a newer 98+ period...the 94-97s are in the 10+ years old range and you can find a 98+ for pretty cheap now....cheap relative to a daily driver that you are willing to spend some money for.

Assuming you have $5k+ to spend...that is what I would recommend. Being that I have owned 7-8 tegs, I'll say I'm probably a fair source of information as well. Given I just bought another 95' for dirt cheap (well under $2k), but thats just because it was so uber cheap.

hahahahaha! i seriously laughed when i saw that one. i swapped my b18c1 into my da and it just didnt do it for me. so i figure the addition of a t3/t4 should take care of my problem..for now.

GSR-way more fun
I just went from a 92 GSR(b17a1) to a 97 DB7(b18b1) and am not happy with the performance at all,but I needed a 4 door.A swap or turbo is most definitely in my future.

The 94-97 GSR had larger swaybars than the LS/GS/RS.

In 98, all the bar sizes were the same.

So it depends on the year.

All GSRs came with a front strut tower bar, though. The LS/GS/RS did not.

I disagree, I was completely unhappy with my LS and with my GSR I have always been fairly happy with the performance. Atleast for a daily driver....adding a "turbo" simply adds wheel spin (again, for my daily driver). Then again, I suppose thats why I have a RWD car w/ 295s in the rear for a "project" car. I drive a mostly stock GSR currently and am still happy with it for DD.

lol, you think like me.

However, I always do little things to whatever car I own. I was happy with my GSR as a daily. I'm happy with my EM1 as a daily. As long as it atleast has a B series in it, I can deal with it being close to stock or stock.

I got my 99 for dirty cheap. There was a dealer selling it for real real real cheap to begin with. I went in, and the guy made some mistake on pricing, so we STARTED negotiating at $2000 under what he stickered it for. He found out he made a mistake later on, but we allready committed to the sale.

I actually traded it in for MORE than I paid for it after driving it for a year and 22k miles.

Iduno how that story helps you....but it makes me feel great about myself.
