ok i got a whole new barke system but my abs lighht is on which only means that my abs will not engage, i live in minn and winter is coming soon, should i leave my car as is, or get it fixed and have my abs working???

If you tap the brakes instead of slamming when you need to you wont need abs. This is what abs does.

What car, what new braking system?? If your abs light is on, your abs is not working.
