My gsr keeps throwing this code on and off, when i checked it yesterday it was "8 2 CPU comparison"

Anyone know what that means?

Its '96 turbo gsr.

8-2 means a faulty ABS control computer.

I signed up for hondahookup.com but its still not letting me look at the manuals yet. What do i do about a faulty ABS control comp.?


EDIT: found my brothers old haynes manual, faulty abs unit. What do i do about that?

It will need to be replaced due to an internal problem. It's located in the RR quarter panel.

Does the whole abs unit need to be replaced or just part of it?

 

It should be just the computer, which is part 2.

Most likely. I would call and ask as the p/n should be printed on the box.
