93 teg shuts down randomly, problems starting
ok the teg shuts down randomly. hot or cold it doesnt matter. under load or not.
also has problems starting. also hot or cold. load or no load.
things i've replaced
-main relay
-ecu
-distributor
-small black relay thats by the main relay (got it when i was lookin for a main relay. i figured its worth a shot anyway)
-small black relay near the top left section of the fuse box on the drivers side kick panel
-fuel pump
-fuel filter
-made new grounds and connected them to places on the wire harness that uses grounds. (basically making sure the grounds work without a doubt)
and now im stumped.
please help me out.

I had the same problem. Sounds very crazy, but it ended up being my alarm. The car would crank but would not start even though the alarm was disarmed. Sometimes the car died randomely while driving. do you have an alarm. Check your wiring.

it is an auto and i will definitely check that one out. the money i spent trying to figure out this problem was supposed to spent on rebuilding the tranny so my brother could have a really low mileage car. i guess it'll have to wait now.
problem SEEMS to have been fixed though. my dad decided to open up the ecu and swab some parts down with alchohol. he said that there was corrosion around the circuits so he just cleaned it for good measure. so far it seems like its working.
this is the first time i've ever had to do anything like that for a honda

I have the same problems with my db1 5 speed like it is starving for fuel, still happens randomly and occurs whenever it wants. I have replaced most of the items you have aside from the fuel pump this has been happening for 2 years now HELP

Copy that when I first got the car it needed the cowl seals replaced as the blower motor cage would fill with water and fling it all over the passenger floor board.... makes sense now thanks ill give it a shot.
