hey everyone I'm having an issue which happens as soon as the car warms up seems to happen more when the car is under load, the car starts missing and popping and idling spurratically. It gets so bad I can't even drive the car. I tried taking the cat off cause I thought it was a clogged cat but that didn't help, then I changed the distrubutor and still the same problem. The car is also idling around 3000rpm. I cleaned up the rotor and cap and made sure all the connections were good, as well I changed the spark plugs(the old ones looked fine). It does eem like the car is running rich. Can anyone help me with this???

Is it throwing any CEL's? And how is the valve adjustment?

It seems like it would be the igniter in the dist. but you changed it..

ya I changed the dist and still the same issue the idling isn't so bad now but other then that no difference

no no codes I put a different ecu in and still no codes

do you have the plug wires in the correct order?

yes I do the car has been running fine up until this happened I haven't changed anything on the car
