engine runs like shit
Im throwing this out there to see if anyone is up their cargame. I have a '91 LS Integra. I recently had two instances where the car wouldnt start without any prior indication. Both instances were about a month in between. Both times, after a few minutes the car started and ran fine. My thinking was it just needed a tune-up, so I replaced the distributor cap, plugs, and wires. I left the rotor replacement out because I couldnt reach the retaining screw.
Upon starting the car after replacing those items, the car ran extremely poor, misfiring and such. It ran as if it were on 2 or 3 cylinders (which it probably was).
I performed this same operation on my '93 Accord just about a month ago with no problems to date so Im really baffled as to why this thing isnt running as it should.
I checked, and rechecked to make sure the wires coming from the distributor are indeed going to their respective sparkplugs, however I cant necessarily rule out that I didnt plug everything back where it should be.
My question is assuming the wiring is in the correct place, could a new cap with the old slightly burnt rotor cause the engine to run like ****, being that is ran fine before replacing the cap?
My second question is WTF? Does anyone know what might be happening, I obviously dont. Thanks! Sorry for the length of this message.

I think your initial problem may have been a fuel relay issue. Not 100% sure..
Now since the other issues arose after your "tune-up" It is possible that the spark plugs may have been gapped incorrectly or the wires might be plugged up wrong.

Problem solved, it was just a crossing of 2 wires; I knew it was something simple but I couldve sworn that I connected everything in the correct order, I just didnt want to admit I mayve made a mistake. Thanks for feedback anyway.
