88 integra motor swap
this is my first import. so i dunno what will fit in my car i bought it for 500 2 door 5spd all stock while driving it home i raced it kinda and snapped the timing belt so i have been looking here where i live and can get i think its a b18 complete with harness ecu. i heard it run sounds great the guy wrecked the car he wants 150 for all. can i use my stock tranny with the new motor will the motor fit in my car without doing alot of mods

you need new motor mounts for that swap. no, the new engine won't bolt up to your transmission. if he only wants 150 bucks for all of it, why not use the transmission from it? i copied this from the faq.
2) Gen 1 specific
86-87 US model years were vac advance
88-89 US model years were electronic advance
an SE model was offered in 87 and 88 in Black or White and had body colored side mouldings, sideskirts and a rear rubberized wing. The SE also had power windows and improved front sway bar and larger rear torsion bar in rear "swaybar". http://www.g1teg.org
Available as a 3 door hatchback or a 5 door hatch back in RS or LS trims. All LS trims had a sunroof, Sunroof in an 86-87 was a flip up/ removable piece of glass and 88-89 were a sliding motorized glass piece.
Suspension is comprised of a front torsion bar setup which can be lowered by adjusting a nut on the torque tubes. Rear suspsnion is a Panhard torsion beam setup.
Hasport offers mounts that allow you to swap in any B-series engine (bastard prelude b20 not included). http://www.hasport.com
Aftermarket torsion bars are available to stiffen up the front suspension (popular sizes are 24mm and 27mm)
Tein makes a custom suspenion setup for these cars available only through Heel Toe Automotive ( http://www.heeltoeauto.com ) This kit is known as the Medieval-Pro kit. It can be ordered with whatever rear spring rate you choose and can be custom valved as well. 16 points of dampening adjustment. Comparable to the Super Street kit for other Hondas.
Upgraded front brake kits are available from http://www.fastbrakes.com (11 inch rotors with later model Integra or Civic calipers.

Hey guys. I’m new to this. I have some questions cuz I’m also building a 88 integra . Could I use 90-93 integra rear discs? Will the tein suspension bolt right up? I’m planning to be series swap and I know I need the mounts, a obd0 to obd1 rywire engine harness, DA front hubs, but what linkage do I use?do I need anything else? I been trying to do research but there’s not a lot of info.
