Three short topics on 5lug, check it out and search some,
the last one said something about switching just the hub I think.

how can you do the itr conversion without buying the "brake assembly" but you would still like the itr calipers...

theres ways to get bigger brakes w/o doing the 5 lug..

the main benefit of the itr 5 lug is the itr brakes..

thats what I always wonder.....what if i just take the 4 lug hub out and press in the 5 lug hub(oem type R) with 5 lug rotors(replica brembo) and call it a day. ?? Reason for being was when i kicked out my hub to replace the wheel stud I wonder if it will work......i dont really care if its functional....cosmetics is what i want........

ladies ladies, chill.

Basically, if you want a 5-lug hub you almost certainly gonna have to have bigger brakes. So....press out your 4x100 hub, press the ITR hubs into those bearings, and get ITR or bigger brakes, the front ITR calipers/rotors, and the back, ITR calipers/rotors. You don't have to get a full "5-lug conversion" as many idiots sell the WHOLE suspension, like the knuckles, trailing arms, UCAs, LCAs, etc.

so then it is a must to buy the itr calipers to fit the rotors becuase its bigger rotors correct? so then you dont even need the whole suspension, lca's, knuckles..etc?

Read this, should help. And no, you don't need the ENTIRE suspension like everyone says, however if you go 5-lug you will be doing a brake upgrade, because...well I know Honda brake systems and I'm not aware of any 10.3" brake setup thats 5-lug, the smallest 5-lug setup is the ITR brake setup, so you'll need somethin else.
Some do a 5-lug brake setup for the bling, but some do it cause they want bigger brakes.

If you want bigass brakes, you can stay 4x100, ya don't need a 5th lug and new wheels.
