The heads are the same. But you would gain some because the D16a6 has a little bit of a wilder cam (correct me if i am wrong). You could always just swap cams out.

I did not think the heads were the same from what I was reading. I am not sure though.

They cumbustion chambers, intake/exhaust ports, intake/exhaust valves are all the same size. Besides I have a buddy that works at the honda dealership. He looked up the part number and they both matched. Dunno...just going by what he said.

Or a y8 intake would be SWEET! But yeah, save yourself some money and just get an a6 cam and a better intake (a6 or y8 prefferably the y8).

Go to the search option, and look up "mini-me" . It will tell you more than you want to know...plus more than that!!
It raises compression, etc. Rather inexpensive when people typically get some decent hp gains, especially considering the runt you are starting with. (I know I have a d15b7 right now).
