Default D15B1 to D15B2

I searched for a post covering this but did not find any. If I missed it please feel free to direct me to it.

I recently bought a 1990 Civic HB Base. In my learning curve I found it has a D15B1 engine (70 HP). I also learned a D15B2 (90 HP) differs by only the cam and two inlet restrictors. Would changing the cam and removing the restrictors be a viable mod? It would retain the stock looking engine and provide significant HP increase. I know the DPFI to MPFI change will also provide an increase but would be an obvious change. I am trying to stay "stock" for classing reasons.
