TPS problem, not reading right
Ok, I adjusted my tps to .45v at idle, but when I go WOT it reads 4.26v. I cant get one to read correctly without it being off at WOT or idle. I know the tps isn't bad because I got another ordered at Autozone and it still reads the same so I returned it. Any ideas?

it is .5 volts and don't worry too much about wot. +/- .15 around 4.5 V is fine, it is the idle that is key to drivability and check engine lights.

0.45v at closed throttle and 4.26v @ WOT is fine. The manuals state approximately 0.5v @ idle and approximately 4.5v @ WOT.
If you want to dial in your CT to 0.5v you can and you won't have to worry so much about the WOT.
My TPS stock from the factory was 0.42v @ CT and 4.26v @ WOT...never had any issues that I noticed. As long as you are within the spec range and there is a smooth transition of voltage as the throttle is rotated you should be good.
