bad idle... wierd cel... tried a few things need some help bad
help a brother out...
so heres the symptoms
-Lately car stalls randomly at a stop
-Idle drops from around 1k to 5-400 at stops
-CEL light flickers when car is cold started and whenever driving always comming off and on
-When CEL is fully on limp mode kicks in... near 2-3k rpms car acts really wierd
-The car bucks horribly like it doesnt want to go faster and rpm needle starts to move
-usually when cel is not on the only problem i have is low idle beside that vtec kicks in and it flies to 8k w/o a problem its just when it starts 2 flicker i see alot of problems
what i have done
checked electrical readouts on iat tps and waterpump sensor... (what the car told me was wrong) all were factory spec beside the tps ran .15 higher in full throttle but idle was fine
iv replaced the throttlebody gasket because my old one was short and ripped

searched for awhile.... wondering if i should order a new tps even tho my ohms were showing right

also checked fuel filter gauge is reading perfect psi...

I would have suspected the TPS, but, without knowing what any of the ECU codes are it is throwing, I wouldn't know for sure...

it throws iat tps and waterpump but like i said the light is hardly ever ON its always dim and flickering... i also checked the readouts on all sensors and clips it said were wrong they were all factory spec

if anyone reads this... do they think i may have a ground problem... if so where could be some problem spots i can look

I had the same problems and fixed it by taking off my iac and spraying carb cleaner in the 2 holes till all the crap was out. Then put it back on with it was dry. There is some topics about it on here.

fixed it....
bad ground on the main ecu ground
the bolt on it had gotten old and stripped itself i guess because when i went 2 tighten it, it broke immediatly
so i took the ground n grounded it to the bracket of the throttle body
