Default B18c1 is burning oil. Should i rebuild for turbo or N/A? Needs to be a daily driver

I was thinking of increasing it to a 2.0L and then adding a turbo. But I've been hearing about some setup only lasting 20k or 30k and then dieing. I want something with oem Honda reliability with around 300-400 hp. I also was wondering a little about gas mileage. I figure if i find something that boosts around 4k to redline as long as i keep it out of boost my MPG won't be to bad vs N/A where the power band is constant.

Like before this would be my daily driver with some track and mainly auto-x events
thanks

Based on your goals it seems that rebuilding the engine for turbo would be the most ideal situation for you. In terms of the reliablity thats up to your engine build and the tune. Setups can last a fairly long time, but you must understand that quality parts and time must be put into the car to acheive that. Those are realistic daily driver numbers, but plan the build well and have it tuned by a reputable tuner and you should have no worries. I would not bore the engine out and only bore over for an oversized piston if needed. This really bares down to your budget and what parts you plan on using.
