if you wanna lower the compression to boost it than your gonna need to tear the bloc apart and get a set of idunno gsr pistons so that itll lower your compression ratio. but you dont have to go that route if you dont want to.
the other alternative is get a thicker headgasket. it should lower your compression a lil bit but not much. i have seen quite a few itr motors with itr internals running boost and making good power and holding up quiet well. you can boost the itr if you have 93 ot 94 octane and you must get a good tune. and im not talking about a street tune im talking about a dyno tune and a good one at that. as long as ur air fuel ratios are good and your not knocking or running big boost you should be fine. a buddy of mine has a boosted stock itr motor runing alil over 300whp and its been running for about 2 years now with no problems.

so how much would be the cost for everything like change of pistons, thicker head gasket, labour.....ect. ???
so is this the first thing i have to do before i turbo my b18c5 engine....?
thanks for the info man......
