what sensor is this?
Title should say this, not his. Anyway, It's a sensor located on the fuel rail. It has a vacuum line that goes directly into the intake manifold, it also has an electrical connection. I just found out that the plug doesn't even fit on it but I get no check engine lights or anything, but I want to know what it is. By the way this is a 99 Si engine into a 95 Si converted to OBD1 using gsr engine harness. Iwould post a pic but I haven't figured out how yet. Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

Any idea as to what it does exactly? I figure it's not something that I should leave unplugged because it obviously sends an electrical signal somewhere.

It's a solenoid valve. It receives the signal to purge the gas fumes in the canister.
