gsr brake swap on 92 civic cx
So i'm planning on doing a complete brake swap (front and rear) from a 94 gsr onto my 92 cx . I've got mixed results on a few things and wanted to clear them up. Do i need the prop valve from the integra? Also the booster and master cylnder from the integra too?

You need the 4040 proportioning cable from the integra, your upgrading from 9.5 to 10.3 in the front stock should be fine. Read up on brakeExperts thead. https://honda-tech.com/forums/suspension-brakes-54/brakeexperts-brake-chart-thread-civic-brake-upgrades-ef-eg-ek-integras-3044628/ hope this helps

No it wont. '94 - '97 Integras will have the ears rotated 90° '98 - '01 Integras have the ears completely horizontal. Either get a '94 - '97 RS master cylinder and brake booster combo or get a '90 - 91 Civic EX MC that bolts up your current brake booster.

What would be wrong with the 98-01 rs mc and bb combo?
Edit: Just re-read his question and didn't see that. The 98-01 rs mc and bb combo will work but why do it when a 91 civc ex mc will bolt to the stock bb. That would just cost more. The lines would match but it won't bolt to the bb.

Nice to see someone else doing this to their EG as well. I'm in the middle of doing mine, same car as yours.
So yes you'll need a 40/40 prop valve. Got mine on ebay for like 20 bucks.
As for the master cylinder and brake booster, I bought the gsr master cylinder thinking it will line up with my eg brake booster, turned out I needed to find an integra brake booster to line up the m/c.

Oh btw, so I found out that the integra prop valve will not line up with the eg one... the brackets are different. EG is a T shaped one, and the integra is a 2 stud bracket that wont extend as far as the eg. Lol... my solution: Steel wire + ziptie + nut to lock it in stud. LOL. Ghetto af, I know, but I dont want to buy another prop valve just because it wont line up.

Don't swap your prop valve!!! There is a lot of misinformation on this. Upgrade your MC and brake booster! I just put integra brakes on my 94 vx which I did a GSR motor swap earlier this year. It stops great, the only down fall I currently have is the long pedal travel which will be fixed when I install my new MC and BB.

Can't you just take the bracket off the eg one and bolt to the integra one?
