Hondata s300 questions/help
I've got a 96' integra with a b20b in it. The ecu is a p75 obd1.
I'm planning to boost my car(I've got the kit already) and decided that a hondata s300 would be best for a good tune.
Could I just buy the s300 and install it on my p75 or would I have to get a different ecu?

You will need an obd2a to obd1 ecu jumper harness & hondata s300v3 installed into the obd1 p75 ecu.

Go with Phearable.net you won't be disappointed. Their customer service is top notch.
For the options it all comes down to what you need or want. If you rather send in your own ECU to save $150 then that would be your best bet. If you rather keep your stock ECU then buy one preinstalled. I prefer to fully load the ECU with components the first time around that way resale is higher and if I decide to change my mind later down the road then the ECU is ready for it.
So install PWM components to control a boost solenoid (aka Mac Valve). Get the VTEC components installed into any NON-VTEC ECU. Most places don't do this, but on the ECUs I chip I do the O2 sensor 5v modification as well. Unless you can solder and desolder small things VERY proficiently, it is not worth lifting tracks that may be unrepairable. Having them install it is your best bet in any case since they are an authorized Hondata Dealer.
The other options are determined by what you want to do with your setup. Are you going to run over 11 psi? Are you going to want on the fly, rising rate, boost by gear or any other options that requires a boost solenoid? If you want over 11 psi then you need an aftermarket MAP sensor. Purchasing a 4 bar is your best bet for ease of tuning at the cost of resolution. For boost solenoids a 3 port is most common as most setups can't utilize or people don't understand how to properly use a 4 port.
