95 plelude si 2.3l temp gauge
hi im new to the honda scene. Infact this prelude is the first import ive ever owned. My temp gauge is always reading cold. i know on fords and chevy's you can ground the temp sensor terminal to check to see if the gauge is working. how can i test to see if i have no signal going to the gauge or if its the sensor that went bad.

Well its the same test for the preludes as posted in the picture, also it might be time to replace your engine coolant temperature sending unit, which are cheap, or look for a break in the wiring.

Prelude has two Coolant temperature switches, and one temperature sending unit. If yours has two wires your on the wrong one. Maybe this picture will help.
