Which A/C Compressor for H2B q/ QSD kit
So I've been talking back and forth with Seth at QSD and can't get ahold of anyone at Innovative to help me out with this question.
I'm trying to figure out which a/c compressor is best suited to retain a/c on an h2b swap in my EK civic.
From my understanding, the B/D/H compressors all have the same bolt pattern, and the D-series has the smallest compressor and would theoretically be the best.
Also, I can't get anything back from innovative on this: http://www.innovativemounts.com/Prod...ductCode=50080
Looking at a Prelude that was at Mainstream Performance, the Prelude used a serpentine belt for the alternator and A/C compressor. (NOT MY PICTURE)
Edit: I suppose worst case scenario I can just have the guy doing the swap cut/weld a notch in the frame rail to allow for clearance. EK's already have pretty good clearance as it is with minimal frame massaging. I can remember reading a few times where users didn't have to bang the frame rail at all thanks to whichever B-series mounts they used.
My beacon of hope is this thread in which this guy says innovative really helped him out in making the A/C work with his particular h2b kit:

Re: Which A/C Compressor for H2B q/ QSD kit
Finally got ahold of Tim at Innovative and he says:
96-00 EK Civic H22 AC Bracket
Allows me to bolt on the D-series compressor which fits and works with the OEM d-series a/c lines.
Thanks all!! I hope this information is useful to anyone else looking to retain A/C on their 96-00 H2B swap.

Re: Which A/C Compressor for H2B q/ QSD kit
I called innovative and the lady on the phone said it only works with a 96 and up compressor.
The only differences i could find was the location of the ac lines of a 92-95 compressor and the 96-00 compressor
