Does pepboys or autozone carry these? You have to replace it with a new one everytime you change your oil right?

Go to Acura to buy your oil filter, and they should give a washer with the filter for free... Please tell me your not putting a FRAM oil filter on there or something... ...

go to autozone and get a stp oil filter (part number s2808) its the same filter as bosch premium adn mobile 1 premium......but it costs 2.99 rather than 8.99!!!! then got to acura/honda and get some crush washers, might as well get a couple for the future!

Please post things that are on topic.
As for the question. Replace every oil change, they are cheap. Acura sells them, either order like 10 now. Or get one at autozone or pepboys. I ordered like 15 here, lol. Never can have enough

I'm guessing you got that from North Texas Prelude Owners Group (http://www.ntpog.org)oil filter review? Here's something I received from Todd Marcucci (the author):
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Todd Marcucci »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Champion Labs has redesigned a lot of their filters (Bosch, STP, SuperTech) and we're in the process of redoing our analysis. I haven't looked at the Bosch yet, but I DO know the STP and SuperTech are now radically inferrior
filters.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Let's wait and see exactly how inferior the STP is now.

Re: Oil change, crush washer. (Commodore)
I've never changed my crush washer on my Integra in the 4.5 years of owning it and changing the oil every 3K. No drips yet It's not the smartest of things to do but it has working for this old.

If you're lookin for filter that you can pick up at NAPA etc, go for the K&N Performance Gold. Nice filter element, nut on top for easy removal, and most importantly it has the high pressure bypass/anti flowback valve like the OEM filters. Went to the dealership once, picked up like 20 crush washers for oil/tranny changes, and now I can just drive down the street and pick up a good quality filter without having to go allll the way to the honda/acura dealer to grab a honda filter.

You coudn't feel the difference. You might if you got a cheap one and it clogged on you, buring up the motor.
