Get a hoist, and its basically all unbolting and unplugging... and then pulling it out. And then doing the reverse.

on 7th gens, usually the linear silenoid goes bad. Best to buy it from the dealer. Ive changed over 5 of them in the past year. Its pretty common if it sort of slipping. Should do the trick.

If its obd 2 and there is only one o2 sensor and no check engine light. I would take a scanner and plug it in and check if there are any codes. There is a good chance that the previous owner got sick...

Also, Intake/Headers/Exhaust and cam are basically useless on a civic, if it was a LS1 then you would see some decent horsepower. But if you were going to get an intake (AEM $220), Headers (DC $250),...

Y8 manifold swap + y8 transmission is a great way to make your y7 more peppy without taking the motor apart. If you want to do a minime swap, find a used y8 head, then get a rebuilt y8 head core off...

Don't go 3" unless its turbo. Yonaka Motorsports have a nice WS2 copy exhaust for around 200 bucks, and its 2.5" mandrel bent.

Looks great, Something you might want to consider is to check the drain tubes in the back while the car is stripped. When I had my del sol, water would get in the back and the drain tubes were...
