working on a 97 prelude, just swapped a h22a in it and now it wont get spark. however if i put any other ecu thats not from a prelude into it it will start but run like crap. so far we have replaced...

Motor is in. Wiring harness pluged right in. Gonna try to start it tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

yes it had a knock sensor. im pretty sure all b18b motors had them. lol. since its a ls chassis im sure il have to wire the vtec in. since its only 1 wire im sure it will be relitavly easy. thanks...

its a 98 ls. he got a 96 b18cR motor with the s80 lsd trans. it does not have vtec pressure sensor, ckf or evap. he has a p73 ecu that came with the engine. by legnthing i...

well i did a little bit of wire re arranging and legnthened the chassis harness a little. it looks as if it will plug in but the kids dad insists that it just wont work at all.

my buddy just got a type r from hmo. came with a rhd harness. is any possible way to make it work in his teg? his dad insists that it wont work. any way to make it work

Head gasket was replaced roughly 3000 miles ago. Then motor sat for 6-10 months.

recently got a 99 ex and swapped a obd1 ls into it. right when you start it it just blows white smoke out of the exhaust for about 2 min. whenn the motor gets warmed up it stops. motor runs just fine...

Besides what's wrong with eagle rods and arp bolts? You seem aginst them?

Rod bearings spun and decinagrated. And one is bent. Block is still fine... motor was ran hard before I got it. Block just got checked out and its all good.

Why ann I sing eagle rods and sep bolts you ask? Because I can. The stock rods were done for. I got the block with very few bolts so I replaced with arp. This is my first build. Yeah I may be 20 but...

yes im replacing the vlaves for peace of mind being as that i have absolutly no idea how many miles are on this head. the skunk 2's were alot cheaper than they would be if i were to buy them from...

I got the pro series springs and retainers.. the valves are standard compression valves. I bought it in craigslist. Everything BNIB. For 500 lol.

just got some skunk2 valves springs and retainers. only issue is there standard compression. would i still be able to use them just fine or do i need to upgrade? yes i know its a n00b question.

so many mixed theories on this swap. gets quite confusing. if you wanna do it the right way then get the si prop valve and si master cyl. thats gonna be the best and safest way IMO.

id much rather learn on a stiff clutch than a oem one. i hate driving on oem clutches. i learned on a car with a bad slave cyl and the clutch would keep going dead. it was frusterating yes but alot...
