yup on my 5th Gen all the gauges work and it doesn't seem like its on limp mode. It drives, idles, and shifts like before. I'm not sure if the speed cuts off early though,I've only driven it up to 65...

just an update, I got my JY ECU yesterday for $60 and my accord started right up. i got it off of a 95 accord vtec auto, so i guess it is compatible with 5spd car. i drove it around and i have no...

cool, thanks GhostAccord, im going to the JY tomorrow to make sure its a 5spd, i know its a 95 vtec for sure though because I got the distributor off of it today, thinking that was my problem.

well im planning on getting it from the local junkyard, so it does have to be from a 5spd accord 94-95 only?

the radiator lid (not the cap) may be old and has a leak on it, i had that problem. Either replace with new radiator or another lid.

my suggestions:
-change radiator/new lid and cap
-new a/c...

removing the door panel is fairly easy. just take of the screw on the door handle and arm rest. Then use a flat head screwdriver to pop the clips, start from the bottom. Once all the clips are off...

that too...unless you meant that you didn't change the air filter, then thats ok if you just clean it out. oil filter change is a must when changing oil.

flush radiator, change thermostat and add coolant. check the radiator cap, replace if you have too. check for leaks after words. let me know if you still have problems.

i went down that road when i tore open my gauge cluster on my 94 accord. i gave up and just found me a whole new gauge cluster. =)

if i were you, id keep looking around in junkyards to find another accord and swap out the whole cluster. if you drive an automatic, they are easy to find, 5spds are harder to find. i went...

oh thanx for the info...i didnt know that...i usually buy the coolant at autozone so its the regular green color. good to know though. :)

1/4 ways sounds about right, although blue coolant doesnt. just flush it out and change thermostat while you're at it to be on the safe side.

roadsqueegy95 how much for 4 of em? without the "I <3 my honda" just h-t.com and username. in original h-t color. honda in white-tech in red username white. can you do the whole original h-t logo?

i would suggest looking at the door lock control module inside the drivers door panel. thats what was wrong with mine. i bought the door actuator and it didnt solve the problem. its a orange o black...
