Since you cut the under section you might want to get a 2" hole saw and open up the back of the cowl on the hood. They catch wind like a parachute. Or block off the induction hole.

Upon further inspection on the manifold those welds need help. And you welded mild steel to stainless steel using a spool of flux cored wire. Looks cold in some spots. And overall I give a D for...

Get a welding jacket and cap. The towell will catch fire. Welding is all about practice.

Ooh that's sucks I've always wondered about the n.o.s. (New old stock) honda parts. Its the same with plastics and molding for old Datsuns. As soon as it hits sunlight its dies out. Like a vampire.
