B20's are great motors, I finally got a ride in my friends yesterday and was very impressed. The B20 feels really strong and is a lot of fun just to drive since it truely does feel extremely torquey...

It's not compressing the rear rotors and deforming them. It is because the caliper holds heat much longer than the rotor- essentially creating a hot spot while the rest is cooled at a different...

The one you speak of is a 5.0 liter V8... although the HP numbers aren't astounding, you're right.

The 6.0 liter on the other hand puts out 604BHP and a ground thumping 738 ft/lbs of torque.

Um. Under the intake there are 2 bolts holding the starter in.

The starter looks like a large electric motor.

Disconnect the battery, undo the starter wires.

Unbolt the starter.

Replace.

I have an 2000 LS/VTEC coupe, and it doesn't have enough power to keep my attention for more than 5 minutes after driving it. The blower took a crap on me so I parked it and decided to rip it apart....

Does vtec come on? My old B16 wouldn't redline higher than like 6900 or somewhere around there if it didn't hit vtec. It wasn't engaging because my speedometer cable kept popping out of the cluster.

Checked fuses... again- they're all good.

Checked switch- it worked fine could physically hear it opening in the relay.
