I am thinking if they aren't shiny(oily) then you may have a problem with the injectors leaking.
Quick test clean the plugs then swap the injectors to the outer cyl see if the black plug syndrome...

Yes it can because the contacts may not pass enough current to power the device.
You could install a jumper to bypass the suspect contacts for testing.

I quite often have to do this to rule out...

The alternator nut are right hand thread (righty tighty lefty loosey).
You will have to take it to a friendly garage so they can transfer the pulley using an impact gun.
They may not even charge...

There seems to be allot of material left on the frame and mount so you should be able to remount it and weld around the perimeter to have it hold very well. But remove the undercoating where you are...

I just take apart the lower ball joint after unbolting the brake line and ABS wire from the strut. Then clamp some...

That ribbed rubber thing is your cv boot.
If your joints aren't clicking when you accelerate out of a corner then do the boot.
If the joint is clicking then do a joint kit / axel.

The most common issues that cause belt walking off the pulleys are worn/miss aligned tensioner/ idler pulleys.

Wow O2 sensors are expensive where you guys are.
A brand new NTK O2 sensor(direct fit) costs me $50 which is less than a universal ($85).

Yup that sound is when there is enough power to pull the starter in but not enough to turn the motor. Then the starter releases due to the lack of power the then it slams back in as there is enough...

OBDII is a North American protocol. Europe has there own system and I do believe Asia has there own system also.
