building an ls turbo engine, stock crank micropolished, got some new acl race bearings, went to install today and the tolerance was out, standard is .0009 to .0017 and max is .002...im reading .003...

ive got the same questions as the OP, my goals are around 400hp for the track, 250hp daily...friend has a b16 head he wants to sell to me, says I wont be able to see my goals on a built ls without...

literally takes 5 mins, 5 screws and bracket on top, 2 screwes inside the wheelwell liner and 2 bolts underneath

ya only 400 for at the track, daily around 250ish, head is fully built and ported and polished

not to jack the thread or anything but i am building a ls turbo...i have the same question about to sleeve or not, im looking at pushing 400whp with a GT3076R...some ppl say i will be ok, others say...

im new to the turbo scene, looking for about 400whp on my built ls...question is would the stock sleeves handle this (maybe with block gaurd?)or should i re-sleeve. Personally I would like to keep...

i have already cleaned it about 5 times...there is no noticeable wear on the tb...still looks brand spankin new

no cel codes...only had a code for a bit when i screwed around with the tps, but i cleared that up...and everything there is pretty much just been changed...within the last few months, like i said it...

ok, ive had the 65mm edelbrock throttle body on my d16z6 for 2 years now, and just last week once i shut the car off and let it sit for a bit, the next time i start it i have to hit the gas pedal...

Thank you very much, when i changed over to my skunk 2 exhaust my cat pretty much fell apart in my hand lol, and it doesnt matter to me if it has to be welded or not, my dad has been a welder for 30+...

i tried that when i was taking mine off, didnt work at all, had them soaked in wd40 for 2 days and still nothing, i had to resort to an impact gun, which BARELY broke them free

ok, i got a 92 civic si hatch, currently has the d16z6 with boltons, soon to be ls turbo, also has header with straight pipe through 2.5 skunk2 exhaust mega power i believe it is....anyways, cops are...

also now, i put in a new fuse, went for a drive, fan didnt kick on so everything was good, got home let it idle, fan came on for 2 seconds then the fuse popped, turned the car off and installed a new...
