I built a wooden vice out of 2x6 and a gate hinge for the purpose of tightening the counter shaft nut a long time ago. Car is looking good.

Zero extensions. 19mm deep impact socket and a half inch breaker bar. If you can't do it with that then just buy an impact and quit wasting time.

Ontario is in San Bernardino County, not the greater Los Angeles area. Tons of illegal street racing back in the day in the warehouse district along the 60 freeway.

My 07 cracked the block with 126k or so back in 2015. I'll admit that I had been running straight water for a little less than a year when that happened and just before it did the transmission oil...
