Re: 2009 Honda Accord LX V4 purchase

Don't mod an I4 accord. Maintain it. Enjoy it.

Re: Thinking of buying a gen 3 prelude. Got questions.

Unless you are just a B20A fanboy, I would just go for the H swap. A turbo'd H in a 3rd gen would fly.

Re: JDM/Mugen EK Civic Si (from Oz!)

This car is sick. Keep the height just the way it is. Next it needs some quality wheels and you will be set.

Look for problems just like you would any other car. Make sure the engine does not tick or knock and runs smoothly. Check for suspension travel on your test drive. Make sure everything works inside...

Re: Price my prelude!! (Time to sell...)

I think by "new" the OP meant "removed from a JDM car at around 30k miles".

Re: Suspension upgrade and rebuild

Replace everything that is broken or hard to get to with the shocks in. If nothing fits those criteria, don't replace anything. Or if you are baller, replace everything.

Re: Price my prelude!! (Time to sell...)

It legitimately says H23A. The H23A is a JDM accord wagon motor with stats extremely close to the H22.

Re: Honda Prelude Swap ?

You will see just about the same cost/power ratio if you turbo or Hswap. I would just H-swap it and have all that extra aftermarket support.

Re: Price my prelude!! (Time to sell...)

It's not unheard of to need a new motor as a car reaches 200,000 miles. Some last longer, but some need new motors within 3-5 years of ownership.

And last I checked, 200hp and 164 lb.ft. of...
