you could do an H22 swap...but be ready to spend around $3k.

here's a thread I quickly searched, it should get you started. the guy named Sean there seems to be the go-to guy for H swaps in 3GP's.

You will see just about the same cost/power ratio if you turbo or Hswap. I would just H-swap it and have all that extra aftermarket support.

Yes, do the swap and then do more power adders later. Just the swap alone is going to net you 60hp right out of the box.

And in a 2600lbs chassis that was designed to be a handling demon, you will desimate many cars without turbo.

With this swap you will be fast on the take off, but you will be even faster in the corners as well since you will have the power range to pull you out of the twisties.

But I recommend you also order the Ksport Kontrol Pro kit from me because it just allows the lude to take your handling to the next level. Trust me on this. I know because I worked with Ksport to make the kit and I still own the first kit developed and still run it.

I do not even have vtec yet but the H23a is still a very good plateform to start, but if you can get into the H22 or an H23vtec, then go for that because you will have more power to start with before you even go turbo.

My friend Mitch has a 610whp Boosted H22. I know of other 3rd genners who are also 400-600whp boosted H22 owners.

Its a small club, so going boost will put you in a small class of 3rd gen owners.

Here are some pics of them:
