Re: p14 chip???? help (youngracer07)

Please don't put those eBay chips in. Everytime someone puts one of those chips in, an engine gets killed.

Please think of the engines.

Re: Future Prelude Owner's Buying Questions (midnight_1)

There aren't rally many problems with 4th gen. Preludes. Just check the typical stuff (rust, body damage, etc.). Make sure the car was well maintained, also.

Re: what do i need to lower my car the right way? (bb6kid)

Get some nice lowering springs from a reputable brand, like Eibach or H&R. New shocks would help too. After lowering your car, go get an alignment.

Re: Another VTEC question (lazyhenry30)

Check your oil level, then check your VTEC solenoid. If your oil level's low, VTEC won't engage.

As for the website, I think it's this one: https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/...2Easp...

Re: 98 Prelude H22A4 w/ seized block (Stephonovich)

I think it'll be better to get a whole new engine. Rebuilding it doesn't seem to be worth it.

Re: 1997 Prelude Reliability (noood)

As long as the car is maintained properly, the car should be fine. Preludes are pretty reliable.

I don;t know much about the manual tranny problem, though. I know the automatics really do suck...

Re: Swapping an H22 into a 2nd gen? (98savage)

You can tell him to buy a 3rd gen and swap a H22 into it. Mount kits have been floating around.

Still, I'd rather get a 4th gen and swap a H22 into it. Just easier.
