My misfire problem rises again...
Ok I had a thread about 2 weeks ago about a misfire at idle and in high rpms. I replaced the distributor and the problem went away for about a week.
IT'S BAAAAACCKKK!
Ok left my house early Saturday morning and went to the gas station. Got 20 bucks worth of 93 octane. Started the car and wtf I'm running on 3cylinders. I drive it home and it's running on 3 cylinders the entire way. I pop the hood when I get home and check all my spark plug wires and fuel lines coming into and out of the fuel filter...everything's good. However I pull out spark plug wire #4 and the engine "tone" (for lack of a better word) does not change. I check the rest and the tone changes. Ok fouled plug I'm guessing. I check the wire by putting it close to the valve cover and the plug wire is sparking.
Fuel filter, plugs, and plug wires have 6k on them. New dizzy has about 1 week on it.
I'm guessing it's the fuel pump and/or fuel strainer. I picked up both and got some more plugs (NGK's of course). Gonna try the plug first.
Any ideas guys? Help is much appriecated.
Mods I didn't keep my other thread going cuz I didn't think many would bother look cuz I posted when I put the new distributor on that I "fixed" the problem.

U seamed to have checked everything but the most important thing, the spark plug. If ur only running on 3 cylinders it's likely that ur spark plug is fouled. If u think it's in the wire than u can check it but usually that's not the problem. To check the spark plug wires test their resistance with a multimeter, it should be below 18 ohms. Anyways, take out the spark plug in the cylinder that's not working and see if it's black, or white, or what's up.

Well I figure the spark plug is fouled but it's just odd that it happened right after I got gas.
Anyone else got an idea?

Yup brand new NGK wires. 6k miles on them now.
Plug #4 has started to rust so I suppose water got down in there. I still has a misfire though. I'm gonna change the rest of the plugs and see what I get. I'm taking the fuel pump and fuel strainer back.

I adjusted my valves around 6k miles ago and then about a week ago I adjusted them again. I was a tad bit off before.

Ok so 1,2, and 3 were oil soaked and 4 had started to rust. I suppose it was water soaked. So I pulled the valve cover and replaced the spark plug grommets and put in 4 new NGK's. It's good to have my car running right once again.
