Tonneau Cover for S2000

I've got a OEM tonneau cover for a S2000, in very good shape. Asking $75, located in Raleigh, NC, I'd rather not ship. PM me if you're interested.

Re: Brakes: fastbrakes/wilwood? or hybrid OE?

Fastbrakes makes a bracket that allows you to use 11" rotors and ITR calipers on stock hubs. I agree with you about the 10.3's, I tried mocking it up and everything interfered. I ended up giving up...

Re: Pad Wear vs Brake Pedal Feel

Your pads are tapered, it explains all the symptoms. I had stock calipers\rotors, and even with XP-10's they would taper by the end of the pad. Mine tapered to the point that the pedal didn't do...

Re: tracking my 91 Civic Si.. seatbelt question

Don't bolt the vertical straps of a harness to the floor, it will compress your spine in a crash. Fixed back seats without a roll bar will kill you in a roll, as they don't break like stock seats do....

Re: GSR cheap track day brakes?

Stock calipers\rotors will hold up just fine. If you get high temp pads and some good fluid like ATE blue, you'll be golden. I'd stay away from HP+ if its going to be primarily a track car\not a DD,...

Re: Cornering grind going into 3rd gear

I had a slight 3rd gear grind in my D series transmission and switched to the GM syncromesh stuff. Haven't had a grind since.

Re: Review: JTC Customs Shifter Extender

For the record, I've sold like 1 extension. The demand simply isn't out there for these things. I just make them for my friends and people I meet at the track.

I have a friend that races HC, and...

Re: ABS hissing during bleeding process.

The ABS unit can be bled, the procedure should be in the FSM.

Re: ABS hissing during bleeding process.

Its probably threatened by you.

Really though, what pads are you running? Street pads will fade if you get them too hot, and might even taper. If they tapered, your brakes would feel mushy.

Re: safe street car seats

Not to threadjack, but wouldn't a fixed back seat with just a roll bar still be somewhat dangerous in a roll? I'm considering putting a roll bar and 6 point harness (similar to an autopower) in my...

Re: My EF typeR build

Re: Low RPM, high throttle misfire

I was driving today when it started acting up again. This time I provoked it, and the tach started jumping around. This means the ignitor is bad, and I have ordered a new distributor from distributor...

Re: Low RPM, high throttle misfire

I know one of my well seals is leaking, but not too crazy... regardless, the change interval on spark plugs for old Hondas is like 20k and I've gone 40k. Keep 'em coming!

Low RPM, high throttle misfire

So, my car did this a few times intermittently before today, but it just became reproducible.

What happens is at low RPM (under 3500) and high throttle (over 50%), the car feels like it switches...

Re: Eg Hatch Battery Relocation

The short version - You want 50/50 weight distribution.

The long version - The max force the tire can react (aka how much force it "outputs") is not linearly proportional at the vertical loads...

Re: Eg Hatch Battery Relocation

Behind the passenger seat - low, and keeps the PMOI down. Plus, you want all the right side weight you can get.
