M2U4 trans can only be used with ATTS. With Euro R engine you need a non-M2U4 trans.

Replacing A/C thermostat without removing evaporator

How is the A/C thermostat mounted in the evaporator in an EJ,EK,EM? Is it possible to replace (reintall) it without pulling the evaporator?

jdogg has used them quite a bit for NA. Iirc he also did some development testing on them and S2000 pistons for Mahle.

This isn't B series. Take off the pulley and look at the marks on the timing gear and oil pump. Get yourself the appropriate helms.

Test the coil according to the helms. If you didn't pull the coil plug before the test, it's likely gone. I've done the same before in a hurry. Charge builds up with no where to go.

Read the first post. No one said a larger iron bore wouldn't be better. He wants to use stock pistons. FRM is a better material for heat transfer and wear. There's no reason for him to spend more...

Fyi, Importrp sells the stock Hitachi ICM for $70-75. Just no oem packaging. The aftersales parts business is extremely profitable for all OEM's, sometimes even more than vehicle sales. No wonder...

First try adjusting the rack guide in this one to Honda's spec. Inch of play and sloppy return to center indicates improper guide adjustment and it's a common issue with reman's from what I've seen...
