Re: I'm sorry mods... I think we need a rambling thread.

Anyone still use Honda-tech? Probably not. I'm just over here hating facebook groups and wishing forums were still a thing

Re: So I had my ID 1000's flow tested.

I own a similar injector machine.. it really is not the best thing to actually flow injectors with, the pressure builds slowly, the graduations on the cylinders are too course, they dont all start at...

Re: Timing Chain conversion on H22??

chains typically cost you more power than a belt, require oil and guides and all that. the only advantage to a chain over a belt is service interval..

Re: DIY $5 Secondary B-Series Timing Belt Tensioner/Cam Belt Tensioner

s2000 motors and k-series motors deal with the same... you know how we fix it.. get cams that are made properly, no more slap.

Same thing applies here. If you have a bunch of belt slap your cams...

Re: 82x89 setup looking for tips/help for more power.

It's a little motor.. I'd leave the motor be and work on the chassis and driving.. build a big motor. All the stuff needed to make the small motor fast just chokes up a big motor and you'll have to...

Re: Erin's 290whp GSR

I'm not here to take anything away from anyone.. 290hp on a b-series is doing work regardless of the fuel. The formula for a 250hp b-series motor on gas is pretty standard and repeatable, 280-290 is...

Re: Erin's 290whp GSR

thats good power, but remember that m1 is good for 25hp or so over ms109 and they say m5 is good for 5-8% over m1!... so figure this is really a 250hp motor on gas... which is about right here

Re: Is the K24Z3 (same as K24Z7 2012 Civic Si) a good engine to modify?

It depends on what you want to do.. they make great power on lower boost setups. full race kit on 10-12psi makes over 400.

All motor they are easy to get to 240ish hp, not much there after that.

Re: Push button for starter, fuel pump? and such?

There is really no reason to have all those switches. The ecu can control everything once its turned on. You really just need 2 switches, ign power and starter. Ecu does the fuel pump, water pump,...

Re: px or king motorsports px

Dont bother with skunk stage 1.. they are a waste of time.

the standard PX and pro2's always make good power and torque.. The px is good for probably 225-230 before it really needs porting. It'll...

Re: B20/VTEC sleeves strong enough for high cr pistons?

I have beat 84mm b20 blocks to hell and back with no issues. (250+hp and 10k+ rpms) I have even beat 84.5mm blocks like it was going out of style with no problems. I put one 85mm b20 together and...

Re: Rod bearing clearances... I am clearly missing something

The particular clearance isnt all that important, what is important is that they are all the same. for basic all motor setup 0.0010ish to 0.0022ish will work fine

Re: Autometer and AEM Wide Band o2 Sensor Question

Re: H22 pistons

On h22's we always get local machine shop to install a dry liner and then you can use whatever piston you want. Dry liners installed, bored, honed and decked shouldnt run you more than $750

Re: Bad day with my B20/VTEC stock sleeves.

that block was probably already abused or damaged when you got it.

We have several stock sleeve b20vtec's running around for very long periods of time (years) turning 9500 rpms making over 250hp....

Re: Can I add an audio capacitor to my cooling fans? Spal extreme fans stall my can w

Re: Auto Trans.....Has anyone done it?

honda auto's dont use a planetary.. they use a constant mesh tranny.. think of a standard manual trans but instead of sliders, syncros and shift forks they have a clutch pack for each gear.

Re: DDTECH prototype H22 cam test

alot of guys around here are on h2b setups with mostly stock motors. being able to make power to 8500 would help those guys alot considering b-series gearing.

The problem with something like that...
