Default Autometer and AEM Wide Band o2 Sensor Question

Here is the overall money question:

Is the Bosch 02 Sensor on the Autometer wide band setup the same as the AEM wide band sensor?

I know:
-both sensors are an LSU 4.2
-the number actually on the AEM sensor is 0 258 007 206
-The Bosch pn for the AEM sensor is 17205
-If they share the same connector, they will be compatible with each other's system.

I have already contacted Autometer. I have already contacted Bosch. I have tried to get in touch with some companies who sell autometer and hope they would have one in stock, but no luck thusfar. I will continue as i have the time

If you have any series Autometer Wide Band Air/Fuel Gauge, please take a couple minutes and look at the number please.

If you know any vendors who currently have the gauge kit in stock, please provide me with a phone number.

And for all those wondering why I'm going through all this hassle... I have some extra contingency for autometer and i would like to replace my o2 sensors for next season. If i can use my extra contingency on the autometer sensor, it would help me purchase other parts.

Thank you for your time.

I believe the 2001-2004 or something like that turbo Bug has the same sensor for around $50.00.

Bringing this back from the dead. Can you rewire the plug on an autometer wideband gauge to accept a plx/innovate bosch lsu 4.2 sensor and it work correctly? I've miss placed my autometer sensor but I have several plx/innovate sensors laying around. I can't seem to find an autometer sensor for under $100. Although I did find some aem sensors for $60 which appear to be the same but I've never found a definite answer.

the resistor on each connector is specific to that particular sensor, thats why those dont need a calibration.. so no you cant change the plug

and damn this is an old *** thread
