I asked the guys at t1 and they said that those injectors won't flow enough for 300whp on M5. that was with a bosch 044. I will try this myself sooner than later and will try to up the fuel pressure...

The article doesn't mention anything about the deckheight.
Kind of like the B18C and B18B engines same deckheight but different stroke makes up for the B18B's larger displacement.
