Re: whats the stuff used to jamb over idle adjust screw to keep from moving?

I would probably just back it out 4-5 complete turns, counting the full rotations, then get a drop of loctite on the threads on the side of it via toothpick/syringe/etc., then screw it back in the...

Re: whats the stuff used to jamb over idle adjust screw to keep from moving?

I'm sure Honda only filled that hole to keep people from adjusting the idle. I don't think it has anything to go with keeping the screw from moving.

If you're that worried about it, you could take...

Re: left rear brake will not bleed. Air no matter what I do!

Sometimes a wrap or two of Teflon tape on a bleeder screw will help. If the bleeder screw doesn't fit the hole tight enough when bleeding, you can get air in through the loose threads.

Re: Why wont Ebay cat-back fit my sedan?

Exhaust directionalizer? Lol

As stated, the mid pipe on the sedan is longer due to the longer wheel base. An exhaust for a hatch or crx will be too short.

Re: Crxguy's 1990 CRX frame-up restoration thread. (56k warning)

I'm sorry, but he lives in Montana, and did all of the work on his car rather than paying someone to do it for him. Why would he know of a shop in Houston that you could pay to work on your car?

Re: Why wont Ebay cat-back fit my sedan?

Well, it's made for a hatchback. As far as I know the mid pipe is a different length on the sedan/hatch/crx, thus it will likely be too short.

Re: wiring questions. For subs and speakers.

There really shouldn't be a whole lot of under dash wiring for speakers or subs, and there's really not all that much even for the head unit. Be careful of what you're yanking out.

You can very...

Re: Are the struts on an 88 crx the same as 89-91 crx's?

The rear shocks on the 88 had an eye on the bottom as opposed to the fork on the bottom on 89-91.

The 88 used a stamped steel lower control arm, where the 89-91 used a solid cast control arm.

Re: how do i know what obd my b18b1 is sorry new to this

You would need an OBD1 Dizzy and ECU, as well as the ECU jumper harness if you choose to use one.

Re: '91 Crx swap?

You fail to see what makes everyone irritated.

It's not a person that knows nothing that irritates people, it's a person that knows nothing that wants to be spoon fed and refuses to put any effort...

That will definitely not be everything you need, but it's a good start.

If you have time, you could certainly take 2 minutes to simply search this site for a detailed guide on swapping a B series...

Re: Crxguy's 1990 CRX frame-up restoration thread. (56k warning)

It's in one piece, just a little dirty. It has some worn spots on it, but you can't expect a whole hell of a lot from an 88 Si.

Re: Rt4wd welding in o2 sensor location

Pretty sure a one wire O2 sensor needs to be closer to the head. A 4 wire sensor would be fine down there.

Re: Help identifying engine

Snow sucks.

Well, when you get a chance to look, if there's a number at the end of the engine code, it's not JDM.

Re: Help identifying engine

What does the stamp on the front of the block say?

It's right on the left side of the block next to the transmission. It's a flat spot with the engine code stamped on it.

Re: Crxguy's 1990 CRX frame-up restoration thread. (56k warning)

.............and you spent exactly $0.00 on this build, and won't ever have to drive THIS D15B2 CRX, so, why exactly does it matter to you if it wasn't done the way you would have done it?

There's...
