Are the struts on an 88 crx the same as 89-91 crx's?

Are the struts on an 88 crx the same as 89-91 crx's?
I'm about to order a set of struts for my 88 crx but it says 89-91 crx's. I was just wondering if there was a difference in the 88's from the 89-91's being they're all ef. Thanks for the help.

The rear shocks on the 88 had an eye on the bottom as opposed to the fork on the bottom on 89-91.
The 88 used a stamped steel lower control arm, where the 89-91 used a solid cast control arm.
For some reason my brain wants me to remember that this is only on the Si, but I'm not sure if that's correct or not.
Just look at the bottom of the rear shock absorber and see if it has a fork that goes on either side of the LCA, or an eye that attaches inside the LCA.
88
89-91
Obviously the 2nd picture is not a stock LCA, but you get the point.

The 88 model year is the odd ball, but it has it's advantages....it's much lighter weight and can handle corners more aggressively.
Any model of any year can be interchanged with either style or rear strut and lower control arm. What is interesting is that in Japan, all years of crx used the rear suspension setup
