Default whats the stuff used to jamb over idle adjust screw to keep from moving?

whats the stuff you supposed to use to jamb into the hole in front of the idle adjustment screw to keep it in place and keep it from moving ?

it looked like some type of gunk stuffed in, like thick wax or something ?

after adjusting my idle last time i just jambed some thick candlewax in the hole and thought it seemed like it would work, but its gone now, but now wonder cause i forgot that when wax gets hot it melts, lol, so i was'nt thinking,

i also noticed my idle is super low, at the mark just above the zero, im not sure if the idle screw moved by itself since there was'nt anything jambed in over it to keep it from moving from vibration or what?, i was going to re-adjust the idle so its normal, but first wanted to find out what product do i use to jamb in over the idle screw to keep it from moving ?

anyone know? or just know of something i can use that does the same purpose ?

thanx

I'm sure Honda only filled that hole to keep people from adjusting the idle. I don't think it has anything to go with keeping the screw from moving.

If you're that worried about it, you could take the screw out and put a dab of blue loctite on it.

ok, i did'nt realise that, for some reason i thought i heard from people a while back that it was to keep it from moving, but maybe it did'nt move, and yeah i guess i could try putting a little loctite or something like that, so its just a screw with a thread that you can take out? would i have to mark where it was at or anything before taking it out? so i can put it back exactly how it was and where it was at?

also i got my car back from a shop a while ago called the honda house (back when i used to pay shops before i worked on it myself), and they did a clutch adjustment and i got it back i noticed there was some type of pastey white stuff around the thread the clutch adjustment **** is on, i guess to keep it from moving or whatever also ? not sure if its that stuff called "honda bond"? or something else?, but not sure if it helps from the clutch getting out of adjusment or keeping from the **** from moving on the thread or not?

if they put it there to prevent people from messing with the idle, thats weird, cause theres lots of other things on the cars engine people could mess with that they don't know about also, and theres nothing covering them?, but i guess the idle is a more important setting and adjustment so might be different.

I would probably just back it out 4-5 complete turns, counting the full rotations, then get a drop of loctite on the threads on the side of it via toothpick/syringe/etc., then screw it back in the same number of turns.

The white stuff is probably lithium grease just because of the plastic to metal friction.
