Re: how much boost? (blackcrx16)

A FPR isn't going to take you very far. You did good replacing your fuel rail, injectors, and pump but I think your fuel lines might not be able to take the brunt of all that, I don't know, anyone...

Re: the second best "mod" ever. (Driven)

Finally? It was the first thing I replaced on the car when I got it, never mind the bald tires, the destroyed 2nd gear on the SI transmission, the crooked lca on the passenger side. The hell with it...

Re: Car wont start sometimes.... (ghost_ryder35)

Its pretty easy to tell when your main relay isn't working, you won't hear the fuel pump turn on, your CEL light also stays on when your main relay isn't working. Since the solder in the relay has...

Re: (davens)

Davens stated it pretty well.

Essentially the engine has an easier time pushing lower(smaller) gears than higher(bigger) gears. If your car didn't have a redline we'd all be pushing an ideal...

Re: How Many Versions Of SOHC ZC? (jdmef90)

The term ZC is so loosely thrown around here it has lost all its meaning to me. Now the only engine I consider the ZC is the d16a8, the DOHC D series engine.

Re: pg7 on a d16a6? (VegaS10)

Too much fuel means power loss. The pg 7 doesn't look viable over stock unless you have an different head that revs higher than the stock a6 or a higher compression or bigger liter engine.

Re: do crx's run a little rich? (stevescivic)

Better to replace a cat that has clogged over years of running rich than to have to crack open an engine that has run a few weeks on lean. I wouldn't worry to much about running a tid bit on the rich...

Re: Map Sensor Codes....still having issues (busychild)

You bumped up 3 points of compression with a stock ecu. Your ecu doesn't have fuel maps to run those extra 3 points, thus you are now in safety mode. The car is dumping as much fuel as it can so it...
