Definately get it you will feel the difference. I run a pg7 on my y7/y8 mini me with bolt ons and run 15.1 on the quarter mile.

I thought that ecu sucked on the A6 engine. I tried it on mine, it burned very rich, and would bog off idle when giving gas.

I can see the benefit on your vehicle due to the vtec and yours being more modified. Mine is mainly stock. I have one sitting in my garage, but, it's not mine, and I don't want to damage it or anything....

Thanks for the input so far, anyone else?

i got a bit more horsepower with a stock pm6 ecu. pg7 gives you an extra 300 rpms til ignition cutoff, thats the only benefit i see. a/f ratio is different tho. however i dont know if the graph is showing which direction is richer or leaner. anyone know?

obviously, i cut off early on the pm6 run, and it caused a spike, but its clear it would have topped off at a higher hp than the earlier runs.

for an A6 use the pm6 unless heavily modified. i used the pg7 on my Z6 swap mainly because of the extra rpm's. the pm6 won't let the vtec motor rev out enough to make good power. with the pg7 fuel cutoff was about 7800rpm. it runs much richer than the pm6, but i had some fuel tuning options. bottom line is if i could have run the pm6 and got the revs i needed, i would have used it.

Too much fuel means power loss. The pg 7 doesn't look viable over stock unless you have an different head that revs higher than the stock a6 or a higher compression or bigger liter engine.
