Re: 2002 honda accord 2.3 motor F23A1 timing set at?

What if you have an OBD1 ECU? I have an H23A '02 Accord I will want tuned. However I'm having trouble setting the base ignition timing as 6G Accords don't have a service connector. Any tips?

Re: How To: B18C1 intake manifold onto B18B1

I'm in the same boat pulled off my GSR Mani in like 02 for a blox. It's one of the few b-series parts I still have laying around. I'm about to get a jdm b20 tho, and I plan on putting it to use.

Re: How To: B18C1 intake manifold onto B18B1

I have been wondering why more people didn't do this on B20's. It seems like it would produce a very usable power band. It certainly would be more ideal than a manifold designed for an ITR. ...

Re: Need help with F23a swap

Use your F22A head, manifolds, sensors etc and it should bolt right in.

Re: F23A1 5 speed swap into 1995 civic (warning alot of pics)

Can't beat that price/performance ratio. A 2.3L SOHC is a lot better than a 1.5L. Also the F23 is a great platform. If I ever finish my CRX it will have an F23 based abomination.

Re: Bense's H23A Swap HowTo & Discussion Thread

Of course not, Bense is too busy playing with trannies. I guess he's waiting on some h22 gears to be delivered so he can build an F/H hybrid trans.

Re: D16z6 rebuild info needed please

The PM6 piston has valve reliefs for different valve angles (D16a6/d15b2/7). You might want to clay it to be safe, but I think it will be fine, especially with a stock cam. Technically your timing...

Re: Turbo F22 build H22 rods 4g63 pistons low compression

I researched this in '04. Some guy actually tried it, it's all in this thread.

Re: F23a vs H22

The H22 makes way more HP stock. If you're wanting a stock swap that will be quick without having to build it go with the H22. If you want an underdog project with great potential, go with the F23....

Re: 1994 Del Sol 1.6 VTEC

I thought the Del Sol VTEC has the B16, while the Del Sol Si has the SOHC VTEC. Bump GLWS, just wanted to clarify that.

Re: Modding A D16Y7

P29's with the y8 head is a bad idea. Yes people have done it, but you end up having to pull timing due to detonation, which negates the power you would have gained from the added compression of the...

Re: STOCK D16y8 WANTING TO GO ALL MOTOR

I'm a fan of D16's, but the B16 swap is almost worth it for the transmission.

Re: d16y7 all motor build

You don't have to spend a lot on a SOHC to make good power, and it's really not that hard to beat stockish b-series swaps. I don't know why people think it costs so much. Raver is regurgitating a...
