Piston rings aren't really affected by oil starvation because they don't rely on oil pressure directly.

Oil starvation will kill all the bearings very fast and it's possible this ordeal put alot...

GSR is better because:
1. b18c is a great satisfying engine and is great to build on
2. hydraulic steering makes for a go-kart like ride.

As far as I know, once water gets in the wire harness, it's not worth buying the car unless it's going to be a drag car or road racer in which case the majority of the stock wiring won't be needed...
